At Shepherd of the Mountains, we take our cues for serving others from Jesus Christ. Christ puts the stamp of joy on the whole idea of sharing life. He is the one who, in a single sentence, sums up the value of being available to others:
I came not to be served, but to serve. Matthew 20:28
Matthew 20:28
The opportunities in this congregation for you to serve others and express your faith are more than anyone can count. All it takes to engage your talents and energies is a little initiative on your part. Please let us know your areas of interest.
Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject or verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. Martin Luther King Jr.
