We offer a variety of christian educational opportunities for both adult and children and youth.
Opportunities to learn about the Bible, theology, spirituality, and living our faith in daily life are available at Shepherd of the Mountains.
Adults meet weekly during the school year on Sunday mornings from 9:40 – 10:30 am in the library. Topics change monthly and formats for the class include studying books, the Bible, current event articles, and watching and discussing videos. Guests and visitors are welcome.
Adult Bible Study meets Tuesday nights, two nights a month, in the Pastor’s Study at 7 pm. The study focuses on the Bible texts for the upcoming Sunday. Guests and visitors are welcome.
A fiction and non-fiction book club meets monthly in members’ homes. Members of the group select books to read on a range of topics based on their interests, current best-sellers, and recommendations.
Children & Youth
Be still and know that I am God. Ps 46:10
God has created our youth and families.
Christ cares about our youth and families.
The Holy Spirit is at work in our youth and families.
Grace abounds in, through, and around our youth and families.
Here at Shepherd of the Mountains, church leaders and parents are working together to help our youth grow in faith and discipleship of our Lord by encouraging them to participate in our youth and educational offerings.
Shepherd of the Mountains offers Sunday school for all ages during the school year, youth fellowship activities, opportunities to be involved with fundraisers to support our youth, and Vacation Bible School.
We encourage all ages, even adults to consider what steps can be taken this year, whether it be a class or including a new habit in their daily lives to grow in faith.
