Hey Shepherd of the Mountains!
It’s Jordanelle again!
I am so excited to be continuing to connect with you through the church blog! Being in a new city and environment has been an adjustment but it is good to know that there are still things I can do to connect with you all even though I am not there in person.
Previously I was talking about finding a new church to attend down here at SUU and how it is strengthening my relationship with God. Another aspect of going to all these different churches is that I get to see all these beautiful church buildings that people worship in.
Every church has its own unique feeling and decorum to it, and it is beautiful. It is so cool to get to see all these different church buildings and how the people of those churches use the building and personalize it for their congregations. It is beautiful because you can see the communities of each church within the way they use their buildings.
The following images are of a couple churches I have been to in the past weeks and how different but beautiful they all are.
Churches are more than a building they are a place that we worship. They are a home of God where all are welcome to celebrate and share in his love. Churches hold meaning to everyone who walks into them religious or not and the simple beauty of the buildings is a reminder of the simple beauty of God and how we are all saved by God’s grace and love.
The last 2 images our of our church during Easter and the Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City which I got the chance to visit in July of this past year.
That’s all for now! Until next time! God Bless!
