Hello youth and fellow members of Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church! It’s me Jordanelle again! It’s been a crazy month with the semester ending and planning the Youth Movie Night which was held on December 21st at 6:30 pm at the church, the movie based on the youth survey was, Home Alone. Thanks again to all who filled out the survey it will be super helpful in planning future activities.
Our current ongoing Youth Activity is the Painted Rock Project. Please send any pictures you have to me, Hope, or Ann Hoffman as we’d love to see your art skills.  Any projects you are proud of and want to showcase you can send and we will put it right here on the blog.
Art is a fantastic way to brighten someone’s day. Painted rock project is going well, still waiting for more of those images so I can get them up and posted in the meantime keep up the good work. Even something as simple as a painted stone can bring a smile to someone’s day.
WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR!   I’m so excited for what 2022 has in store. A challenge for everyone; make a Resolution List, but not a normal one of things you’ll never do. What I want you to do is to write one on simple things you will achieve this year and then a crazy list of things you want to do this year that might not happen. Being able to have things you know you will get done is nice and can be very productive, but also having those dreams you work toward is also important.
Parents keep an eye on your email for announcements about upcoming activities with the church and the youth, and everyone please be safe during this crazy time with the rising COVID cases each day.
In the next month we hope to have some game nights for the youth so keep a look out for that. Thank you and have a wonderful week! ~ Jordanelle Mugridge
