Hey Shepherd of the Mountains it’s Jordanelle!
It’s been a crazy couple of months for me. Between dancing on stages, competing in competitions, traveling, and serving the communities around me I have had a full plate.
I’m sure everyone reading this can relate to having a full plate, even overflowing. It’s fun but also puts a lot of stress on you. That’s why it is always a good thing to be able to share with the people surrounding you. Whether it is doing activities with them, talking to them or receiving a smile. Human connection is one of the most vital needs in life and that makes community essential. We have a church community, one that is there for the people of the church and neighboring communities.
People make people happy, and people help others. We consider it our job as Christian’s to help those in need in our lives and our communities.
I recently had the opportunity to help in a new community and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Nothing makes me happier than service and helping the communities and the people I care about who are in need, whether I know them or not.
People are so appreciative of help no matter how small or simple it is. And really it is those small simple acts of service or aid that mean the most to people.
Just a thought for the week…Think about the simple acts of service you can do that matter to people and make sure to smile and say Hi to those you see, it makes more of an impact than you can realize.
That’s all for now! Have a great week! ~ Jordanelle Mugridge
